We’re looking for a senior trading analyst to define and measure business performance in our Lisbon office. In this role, you’ll get a chance to work with our awesome analytics team and leadership on forecasting growth and aligning business activity with financial outcomes.

Your new adventure:

• Lead the analytical framework for trading performance, defining the KPIs and benchmarks that describe the health and trajectory of the business.
• Develop statistical forecasting models to predict future performance trends and identify potential risks or opportunities for accelerated growth.
• Translate raw performance data into strategic “trading stories” for senior executives, using proactive insights and storytelling to explain the why behind the numbers.
• Partner with Finance (FP&A) to reconcile top-down financial plans with bottom-up operational performance data, ensuring an aligned view of the business.
• Design and automate executive-level dashboards that provide a real-time view of trading performance and enable self-service insight across the leadership team.
• Analyze cross-functional drivers of performance, identifying how shifts in marketing mix, sales velocity, or product changes impact the overall trading position.
• Collaborate with the wider Analytics team to share best practices in SQL, dbt modeling, and statistical rigor.

Does this sound like you?

• At least seven years of experience in analytics or a related field
• Fluency in English
• Experience with SQL, Python or R for statistical analysis
• Proven experience in forecasting and statistical modeling
• Proficiency with dbt (data build tool) and modern data warehouses
• Confidence with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Looker
• The capability to translate complex data into executive-level insights
• An understanding of software as a service (SaaS) metrics such as lifetime value, customer acquisition cost and churn
• Talent for data storytelling and building clear business narratives
• Skills in cross-functional collaboration with finance, marketing and sales teams
• Strength in designing dashboards for executive audiences
• The ability to mentor other analysts and improve analytical standards
• Passion for driving business performance through data
• Familiarity with anomaly detection or automated alerting is a plus
• Experience in trading or commercial analytics is a plus
