HR Senior People Operations Generalist at Expel

Owns full employee lifecycle operations including onboarding, offboarding, benefits administration, leave management, and HRIS while automating manual processes and improving systems.

Senior Posted 6 days ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

Most people ops roles are a treadmill.

Same onboarding checklist, same open enrollment fire drill, same twelve Slack DMs asking where to find the dental card. You get good at running it, and then you run it again next quarter.

We want someone who’s over that.

This role owns the operational backbone of the employee experience at Expel. You’ll own the full employee lifecycle from onboarding through offboarding, along with benefits, leave administration, HRIS, and compliance. But the real job is making all of that work smaller. Every manual, repetitive task is a backlog item waiting to be automated or turned into self-service. The goal is for employees to get what they need without opening a ticket, managers to handle routine people work without waiting on you, and for you to spend your time improving systems instead of working through a queue.

You’ll be the face of benefits and onboarding, and the person employees trust with sensitive situations on difficult days. You’ll also be the person who looks at a process that’s always been done manually and asks, “Why?” If both of those sound like you, keep reading.

What Expel can do for you

  • Give you real ownership of the People Operations function. You’re not executing someone else’s playbook. You’re helping build it.
  • Back your passion for automation with the mandate and tooling to eliminate manual work.
  • Put you in the room with Employee Experience, Finance, and IT as a strategic partner, not a ticket queue.
  • Offer a company that takes care of its crew, including unlimited PTO that leaders actually model, up to 24 weeks of parental leave, and benefits you’ll be proud to administer.
  • Grow the scope of your role as the company continues to scale, if that’s the path you’re looking for.

What you can do for Expel

  • Own the employee lifecycle. Run onboarding through offboarding from end to end while delivering a consistent, accurate, compliant, and thoughtful employee experience.
  • Run onboarding. Background check monitoring, orientation scheduling and logistics, and close partnership with IT so systems access is ready on day one.
  • Manage offboarding. Handle voluntary and involuntary departures and the exit interview process with care and consistency.
  • Administer benefits. Own Expel’s US benefit programs, including open enrollment, new hire enrollments, qualifying life events, invoice reviews, and ongoing data audits.
  • Manage leave programs. Parental leave, FMLA, short-term and long-term disability. Make them clear, well-documented, and easy for employees to navigate at a stressful time.
  • Lead HRIS administration. Configure the system to enable a smooth employee experience and maintain day-to-day updates — compensation, reporting, absence — with accuracy that holds up under audit.
  • Own compliance reporting. ACA, EEO-1, SOC 2 audit support, Medicare Part D notifications, PCORI filings, and the annual workers’ comp premium audit. Keep our processes aligned to regulatory requirements before anyone has to ask.
  • Automate relentlessly. Treat repetitive work as a bug. Build self-service so employees and managers get answers and take action without going through you.
  • Enable managers. Equip managers with templates, tools, and guidance so they can confidently handle routine people processes without relying on HR for every request.
  • Support employees. Field requests over email and Slack accurately and on time, while steadily reducing request volume through better self-service.
  • Maintain the employee handbook. Keep it current, useful, and honest.

What you should bring to Expel

  • 4–7 years in people operations at a senior individual-contributor level
  • Direct experience administering an HRIS (Workday, Rippling, or similar) — not just using one, running one
  • Benefits administration across medical, dental, vision, FSA, and COBRA
  • Leave administration experience (FMLA, short- and long-term disability, parental leave)
  • Familiarity with US compliance reporting (ACA, EEO-1, Medicare Part D, PCORI) and audit support such as SOC 2
  • Experience with HR ticketing and workflow tools (Zendesk or similar), and a real track record of automating manual processes
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office 365, and comfort using Anthropic Claude and other AI tools in your daily work
  • Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment (SaaS ideally)
  • Comfort with ambiguity and evolving priorities. A role that will change shape should read as the appeal, not the risk
  • A strong service mindset, high integrity with sensitive employee data, and the kind of attention to detail that holds up under volume

Additional notes

This role is remote within the United States.

The base salary range for this role is between $116,497 USD and $168,094 USD + bonus eligibility and equity. While the full salary band reflects our long-term compensation framework, we’re primarily targeting candidates between $125,000 and $150,000 based on experience, skills, and market data.

We believe in paying transparently and equitably. Your salary will ultimately be based on factors such as your experience, skills, team equity, and market data. You’ll also be eligible for unlimited PTO (which we model and encourage), work location flexibility, up to 24 weeks of parental leave, and really excellent health benefits.

We’re only hiring those authorized to work in the United States. We do not currently sponsor immigration visas.

We’re an Equal Opportunity Employer: You’ll receive consideration for employment without regard to race, sex, color, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, protected veteran status, or on the basis of disability.

We’ll ensure that individuals with disabilities are provided reasonable accommodation to participate in the job application or interview process, to perform essential job functions, and to receive other benefits and privileges of employment. Please let us know if you need accommodation of any kind.

HR Senior Talent Acquisition Partner at NetBrain Technologies Inc.

Owns full-cycle technical recruiting across engineering, R&D, and professional services, sourcing passive candidates, designing interview processes, and closing offers.

Senior Posted 9 days ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

Founded in 2004, NetBrain is the leader in no-code network automation. Its ground-breaking Next-Gen platform provides IT operations teams with the ability to scale their hybrid multi-cloud connected networks by automating the processes associated with Diagnostic Troubleshooting, Outage Prevention and Protected Change Management.  Today, over 2,500 of the world’s largest enterprises and managed services providers leverage NetBrain’s platform.

What We Need

NetBrain is looking for a Technical Recruiter to own full-cycle recruiting for our IT, Research & Development, and Advanced Services teams. We need someone who can independently source and engage passive technical talent, build credibility with engineering and technical leaders, and manage a full requisition load without letting priority roles slip. You’ll partner closely with hiring managers and People Experience Business Partners to design strong technical hiring processes and close great talent quickly.

What You’ll Do

  • Own full-cycle recruiting for open roles across IT, Research & Development (Engineering, Product), and Advanced Services (Professional Services, Solutions Engineering), from intake through offer close
  • Independently source passive technical candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, technical communities, and referrals when inbound applications aren’t enough to build a strong pipeline
  • Use Claude to help build ideal candidate profiles (ICPs) and structured scoring rubrics that keep hiring manager and interview panel evaluations consistent and objective
  • Partner with engineering, IT, and Advanced Services leaders to design and refine technical interview processes, including technical screens and panel structure
  • Partner with hiring managers and People Experience Business Partners (PXBPs) to define role requirements, interview plans, and evaluation criteria
  • Lead offer negotiations directly with candidates and educate them on NetBrain’s salary ranges and job architecture, partnering with the Manager of Talent Acquisition on final offer approval
  • Know how to gather the information you need to recruit effectively — and how to move a search forward productively when the full picture isn’t available
  • Manage a multi-requisition workload, organizing and re-prioritizing as new obligations come up so top-priority roles always get the time they need without letting other open roles stall
  • Keep pipeline and requisition status accurate and up to date in the ATS so hiring managers and TA leadership always have visibility

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of recruiting experience in the tech/software industry, with a focus on technical roles
  • A track record of full-cycle recruiting for IT, engineering, or technical services functions
  • Comfort sourcing passive technical talent independently — you don’t wait for applications to come to you
  • Working knowledge of technical hiring processes (coding exercises, technical screens, engineering leveling), or a strong ability to learn a technical domain quickly
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage a full requisition load and adapt when priorities shift
  • Experience partnering with hiring managers and HR/People teams throughout the hiring process
  • Sound judgment for gathering the right information to make a hiring decision, and the ability to move forward productively when some information is missing
  • Comfort using AI tools like Claude to support recruiting workflows such as candidate profiles and scoring rubrics
  • Manual Dexterity: Repetitive motion of wrists, hands and fingers for using a computer.
  • Stationary Tasks: Sitting for extended periods, remaining in a stationary position.

What We Offer

Our comprehensive compensation package is vital in how we recognize our people for the impact they make on us reaching our goals as a company.

For this role, the estimated base is $110,000 - $130,000 + Bonus. The actual salary may vary based on a range of factors, including market and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process.

The range listed above is a guideline and may be modified. People Experience offers a comprehensive benefits package in addition to cash compensation that includes but is not limited to 401k and medical/dental coverage. Speak with your Recruiter for more details on our Total Rewards philosophy.

NetBrain invites all interested and qualified candidates to apply for employment opportunities.

Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, protected veteran status, or other characteristics protected by law.

If you have a disability that prevents or limits your ability to use or access the site, or if you require any other accommodation in the application process due to a disability, you may request a reasonable accommodation. To make a request, please contact our People Team at: people@netbraintech.com and we will be happy to assist you.

We set up our employees for success and have built a culture that encourages rapid career development, and countless opportunities to experiment and master your craft in a hyper-growth environment.

You want to be with the best: At Samsara, we win together, celebrate together and support each other. You will be surrounded by a high-caliber team that will encourage you to do your best.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead the Absence Management Workday configuration. Experience in Workday Absence configuration required, including eligibility rules, accrual policies, and leave case management.
  • Cross-functional collaboration - Partner with HR, Payroll, and other internal teams to incorporate requirements into Workday, ensuring seamless integration and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Review proposed system changes to identify opportunities for process improvement and reuse, driving efficiency across the organization.
  • Build and modify custom reports for standard optimization.
  • Triage and configure Workday enhancements or fixes for HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Timecards, Absence/Leaves, Payroll, and reporting — this role will primarily focus on Absence, with the flexibility to support other Workday modules as business needs evolve.

  • Partner with People Operations teams to solidify and document business requirements related to programs to be executed through Workday and other technologies.
  • Scope and prioritize incoming technology fixes and enhancements.
  • Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices.

Annual Base Salary

$96,092.50—$145,350 USD

Total Rewards

At Samsara, we build for the people who keep the global economy moving. We want owners, not passengers, which is why our rewards are designed to fuel high-impact builders. Our compensation program delivers above-market total compensation through a combination of base salary, performance-based bonus/variable pay, and equity (for eligible roles) in a high-growth public company. We meaningfully differentiate pay for our top performers, who have the opportunity to earn above-market compensation that can outpace the broader market over time.

Beyond compensation, we provide the foundations that enable long-term success: a flexible, employee-led remote model, a professional development stipend, comprehensive health and parental leave plans, and more. If you’re ready to build for the long term and own the outcome, your journey starts here.

What this role involves

Here at Scout Motors, we’re carrying forward the heritage of one of the most iconic American vehicles in history. A vehicle dating back to 1960. One that forged the path for future generations of rugged SUVs and trucks and will do so once again.

But Scout is more than just a brand, it’s a legacy steeped in a culture of exploration, caretaking, and hard work.

The Scout brand is all about respect. Respect for the past and the future by taking an iconic American brand that hasn’t been around for a while, electrifying it, digitizing it, and loading it with American innovation.
