Marketing Product Marketing Ops Specialist at CookUnity

Executes day-to-day in-app merchandising operations including collections, labels, menu audits, and QA to keep product catalog accurate and on-brand.

What this role involves

About CookUnity:

Food has lost its soul to modern convenience. And with it, it has lost the power to nourish, inspire, and connect us. So in 2018, CookUnity was founded as the first-of-its-kind platform that connects the world with the source of truly great food: chefs. Today, CookUnity delivers 50 million meals a year from the industry’s best chefs to homes all over the country. Fresh. Ready-to-eat. And crafted with the passion that nourishes body and soul.

Unwilling to stop there, CookUnity is expanding beyond delivery to become an ever-innovating marketplace focused on our singular mission: empower Chefs to nourish the world.

If that mission has you hungry in more ways than one, you’ve found the right job posting.

About the Team:

The Product Marketing team owns the strategy and execution behind how CookUnity’s menu shows up to customers — from merchandising and taxonomy to launch calendars and live-ops quality. As merchandising has scaled and much of the day-to-day tagging work has become tooling-supported, we’re building out a dedicated Live Ops & Execution function to own the ongoing review, QA, and upkeep that keeps our menu accurate and on-brand every day.

The role:

We’re looking for a Live Ops & Execution Specialist to own the day-to-day execution of in-app merchandising — keeping collections, banners, swimlanes, meal labels, and the menu database accurate and current across markets. A significant share of this work has been automated over the past ~6 months (bulk-tagging tooling), but automation still requires active human review, QA, and adjustment — this role exists to own that layer. You’ll work closely with the PMM Strategic owner, who sets the criteria, taxonomy, and LTO strategy that you’ll execute against.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute the weekly merchandising calendar: collections and banners updates across markets
  • Apply and review meal labels; QA and adjust output from the automated bulk-tagging tool
  • Curate and fix meals in menus according to LTO criteria defined by PMM
  • Run live menu and menu database audits; correct tags as menus and criteria change
  • Maintain meal assets (photos, descriptions, nutrition, chef bios) and confirm product tags are complete before items go live
  • Manage price and premium fee adjustments per meal edits
  • Activate/deactivate meals based on seasonality criteria defined by PMM
  • Run daily QA on new feature launches; follow up on fixes with product and creative partners
  • Execute taxonomy changes across the catalog per the structure defined by PMM

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of experience in merchandising, catalog/content operations, e-commerce ops, or a similar execution-heavy role
  • High attention to detail and comfort with repeatable, QA-driven workflows
  • Comfortable working inside tagging/tooling systems and spreadsheets; can spot and fix data inconsistencies quickly
  • Strong follow-through — able to close the loop with product/creative partners on fixes
  • Clear written communication in English
  • Ability to leverage generative AI to increase output quality and speed

Preferred requirements:

  • Experience with menu/catalog management tools or CMS platforms
  • Familiarity with e-commerce merchandising concepts (collections, banners, taxonomy)
  • Prior experience in a subscription or marketplace business

Marketing Community Manager at OLIPOP

Manages OLIPOP's social media community and engagement across organic social channels to build positive consumer experiences.

Junior Posted 4 days ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

ABOUT OLIPOP

At OLIPOP, we’re on a mission to positively impact consumer health at scale. And we’re doing it through something simple: soda. But not just any soda, a new kind of soda: one that’s delicious, refreshing, and actually good for you.

This mission is deeply personal for our CEO, Co-Founder, and Formulator, Ben Goodwin. Like many of us, Ben grew up consuming the Standard American Diet: lots of soda and processed foods that prioritized convenience over nutrition. But at 14, he took his health into his own hands. After making significant changes to his nutrition and exercise, he lost 50 pounds and saw a transformation in his energy, mood, and emotional clarity.

Those changes sparked a deep curiosity about the connection between nutrition and health. Ben became a relentless student of the gut microbiome and the ways it supports overall wellness. The more he discovered, the more passionate he became about finding credible, science-backed ways to make consumer health accessible to everyone.

The mission was clear. The vehicle? Less so. After exploring the possibilities, Ben landed on an unexpected yet familiar choice: soda. It was something he loved as a kid, and he knew millions shared that same nostalgia. But this wouldn’t be just any soda. With most Americans falling short on daily fiber, Ben set out to create a version with more fiber and less sugar, one that was perfectly balanced. The result? A deliciously refreshing soda with 6 to 9 grams of fiber and 2 to 5 grams of sugar, delivering science-backed benefits without sacrificing the classic taste people crave.

In 2018, the first OLIPOP cans hit the shelves, bringing Ben’s vision to life with a functional soda that anyone could enjoy. And by reimagining soda, we’re also reshaping culture. That means creating products that support health for all and building a business grounded in humanistic values: empathy, integrity, and a belief in better for everyone. From the ingredients we source to the culture we foster, we’re committed to proving that business (and beverage!) can be a force for good, and that soda has the power to bring people together.

So join us, and let’s write a new American soda story together. One we can all feel good about. One OLIPOP at a time.

ABOUT THE ROLE

OLIPOP is looking for an enthusiastic, social-first Community Manager to help create positive experiences for our consumers across social media channels.

As part of the Organic Social team, you’ll play an important role in helping our community feel heard, supported, and connected to the OLIPOP brand. You’ll engage with consumers through comments and direct messages, support social publishing activities, and help monitor conversations happening across our social platforms.

This role is ideal for someone who loves social media, enjoys connecting with consumers, has strong written communication skills, and is excited to learn how community engagement supports brand growth. You’ll work closely with the Director of Social, Social Media Manager, Consumer Experience team, and other cross-functional partners to help deliver a consistent and engaging community experience.

Success in this role is measured through responsiveness, quality of engagement, operational excellence, and the ability to represent OLIPOP’s voice thoughtfully across social platforms.

RESPONSIBILITIES

We intentionally believe in building a specialized, high-performing social team—not expecting one person to do everything. This role is focused on community management first, with publishing serving as a natural extension of that work. Because community managers live inside the conversation every day, publishing is a natural extension of the role. You’ll own publishing across our organic social channels using Nectar Social, ensuring every piece of content goes live accurately while monitoring community response in real time. You’ll execute publishing for evergreen content, trend-driven posts, campaign deliverables, partnerships, and new product launches seamlessly. We hire experts, empower them to do what they do best, and collaborate closely as a team.

COMMUNITY MANAGEMENT

  • Manage day-to-day engagement across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and emerging social platforms.

  • Respond to consumer comments and direct messages using established brand voice guidelines and engagement frameworks.

  • Help foster a positive, welcoming, and inclusive community environment.

  • Build relationships with consumers through thoughtful, authentic interactions.

  • Support community engagement initiatives that create meaningful brand experiences.

  • Identify consumer questions, trends, and themes and share observations with the Organic Social team.

  • Partner with Consumer Experience to ensure customer inquiries are routed appropriately.

  • Escalate sensitive issues, reputation risks, and emerging concerns according to established processes.

  • Support community engagement efforts beyond owned social channels as directed by the team.

  • Assist in maintaining OLIPOP’s presence on community platforms such as TYB.

SOCIAL PUBLISHING SUPPORT

  • Schedule and publish approved content across social media platforms using Nectar Social.

  • Ensure content is published accurately and according to established timelines.

  • Conduct quality assurance checks for captions, links, tags, accessibility requirements, and formatting.

  • Monitor community response following content publication and communicate notable feedback to the team.

  • Maintain publishing calendars and workflows within social management platforms.

SOCIAL LISTENING AND INSIGHTS

  • Monitor social conversations and community sentiment using approved tools and reporting resources.

  • Track recurring consumer questions, feedback, and emerging topics.

  • Assist with recurring reporting and social listening requests.

  • Share community observations and audience feedback with the Organic Social team.

  • Support data collection and reporting efforts used to inform future campaigns and content planning.

  • Stay informed on social media trends, platform updates, and cultural conversations relevant to OLIPOP audiences.

TEAM COLLABORATION

  • Partner with members of the Organic Social team to deliver a cohesive community experience.

  • Collaborate with Consumer Experience, Brand Marketing, Creative, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate communication.

  • Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and campaign planning discussions.

  • Contribute ideas and observations that improve community engagement and consumer experience.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1-3 years of experience in community management, social media coordination, customer engagement, or related marketing roles.

  • Thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and is excited to learn, adapt, and take on new challenges.

  • Strong written communication and copywriting skills with the ability to adapt to a brand voice.

  • Familiarity with major social media platforms and community management best practices.

  • Experience using social media management, publishing, or engagement tools (Nectar Social, Sprout Social, Dash Hudson, Sprinklr, or similar preferred).

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Demonstrated customer empathy and professionalism in written communication.

  • Comfortable working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

  • Curiosity about social media trends, internet culture, and evolving consumer behaviors.

  • Passion for consumer brands, digital communities, and creating positive customer experiences.

  • Interest in health, wellness, food & beverage, or lifestyle brands.

HOW WE WORK

We may be fully remote, but we’re anything but disconnected. OLIPOP has grown from a few passionate people around a table to a nationwide team, and we’ve done it without losing our collaborative spirit or sense of purpose.

Connection here is intentional. From cross-functional projects and IRL offsites to thoughtful Slack threads and spontaneous gifs, we make the effort to stay close, even across time zones. Sure, we move quickly, but we lead with trust, transparency, and a shared commitment to doing work that matters.

We value thoughtful debate. We give feedback with care and receive it with curiosity, knowing that real growth, both personal and collective, comes from listening as much as leading. Because at OLIPOP, it’s not just about getting things done. It’s about growing together, staying true to what matters, and building something with lasting impact.

WHAT WE VALUE

At OLIPOP, our values aren’t just posters on a wall. They shape how we show up: for each other, for our customers, and for the mission we’re chasing together.

  • Mission Connectivity: Everything we do ladders up to our shared goal: supporting human health. Whether launching a new flavor or conducting clinical research, the mission stays front and center.
  • Indomitable Spirit: When things get messy, we get inventive. We stay curious, adapt quickly, and find the path forward, most likely with a dedicated Slack thread and a beautifully overbuilt deck.
  • Lead at Every Level: Leadership isn’t about titles, it’s about ownership. We speak up, follow through, and lift each other up. If you’ve got ideas and initiative, you’ve got influence.
  • Courageous Humility: We’re confident in what we bring and curious about what we don’t know (yet). We give feedback with care, take it with grace, and know that real growth takes both.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Success at OLIPOP doesn’t come from checking boxes; it comes from living our values, staying curious, and finding energy in both the pace and the purpose. We’re building something big, and we’re looking for people who:

  • Think big, move fast, and take thoughtful risks
  • Thrive in a high-performance, feedback-rich environment
  • Value real human connection and honest collaboration
  • Are fired up by building something new, and making it better every day

Startup life at OLIPOP is equally fun and fast-paced. If you’re energized by a dynamic environment, eager to grow, and excited to help shape something meaningful from the inside out, OLIPOP is a one-of-a-kind ride.

We are committed to providing reasonable accommodations to qualified individuals with disabilities or other needs during the application process and employment. To request an accommodation, please contact The People Team at recruiting@drinkolipop.com.

We are proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.  OLIPOP will consider all qualified applicants without regard to race, religion, gender (including pregnancy and gender identity), national origin, political affiliation, sexual orientation, marital status, disability, genetic information, age, veteran status, or any other characteristics protected by law.

Submission of Application Materials

Applicants are required to submit only the materials specifically requested as part of the application process. Please do not include any unsolicited materials, as they will not be reviewed or considered.

Unsolicited materials may include, but are not limited to:

By submitting any materials beyond those explicitly requested, you agree that:

Marketing Community Manager at OLIPOP

Manages OLIPOP's social media community and consumer engagement across organic social channels to build brand loyalty and positive customer experiences.

SEO specialist executes search optimization processes, manages SEO tools, contributes to client strategy, and incorporates AI to improve efficiency and quality.

Junior Remote Posted 8 days ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

Are you an SEO specialist with 2+ years of SEO experience, looking to grow into a strategist managing your own international clients within the next 2 years?

Are you someone who can execute agreed processes with a high degree of precision? Do you enjoy presenting to team members and clients?

And do you want to do it all at an agency that truly values your well-being, trusts you to manage your time, and gives you the flexibility to work how you work best?

We are looking for an incredibly curious individual who knows that AI is fundamentally changing search behaviour, as well as changing the fundamentals of how businesses operate!

We need your help to progress our journey in becoming one of the first fully accredited Claude partners in South Africa.

The position is fully remote, with flexible hours, but operates mainly during South African business hours.

Within the context of using AI wherever it makes sense, your responsibilities will include:

  1. Executing a range of SEO processes: Interpret briefs from team members, ask clarifying questions, challenge assumptions, and then execute “with precision”. The more you can incorporate AI (smartly), the better.
  2. Operating a variety of SEO tools: Quickly understand how to use the various SEO tools we have at our disposal to help execute (and improve) our SEO processes.
  3. Contribute to client SEO strategy: We will welcome all your contributions to client SEO strategy brainstorming sessions. (Over time, we will help you grow your client presenting skills.)
  4. Contribute to AI best practices - Your passion and experience with AI will help us progress faster in becoming an official Claude partner.

The “must-haves”:

  1. Minimum of 2 years’ dedicated SEO experience;
  2. Be confident and articulate in meetings;
  3. Google Analytics, Google Business Profiles & Search Console knowledge;
  4. A university degree.

The “nice-to-haves”:

  1. You’re already using AI to get better quality work done, or you’re more efficient with your work;
  2. A working knowledge of ranking tools (SEMrush/Accuranker/SE Ranking), technical website health factors, Google Tag Manager & HTML code;
  3. You’re learning-obsessed and can show recently completed learning courses.

Remuneration:

As the experience for this role can vary widely, the salary range is as follows: R20,000 to 26,000 CTC. Other benefits include:

  • 20 days’ annual leave;
  • Fully remote (but operating on South African business hours);
  • Flexible hours;
  • Birthday off (no one should work on their b’day).

A little more about CleverClicks:

We’re a digital marketing team of ten people primarily based in South Africa, with clients all over the world. We offer SEO, Google Ads, and UX work, all with one focus: to increase our clients’ revenue.

We operate under two brands: CleverClicks Digital focuses primarily on health care; and Adventure Travel Digital focuses on multi-day adventure tour operators. We were established in 2007, and all our clients are international.

The most unique thing about us is our culture.

At the centre of that is a focus on individuals’ well-being and the ability to be very flexible with their schedule.

Gym at 11am? Yoga at 3pm? Offline in the afternoon to take care of some personal or family business? No problem. Just let the team know.

So what do you think?

Are we floating your boat?

(When the form asks for your favourite colour, say “gold”.)
