Project Management Environmental Project Manager (Engineering) at Tradewater

Manages environmental projects identifying and mitigating orphaned oil/gas wells, coordinating field operations, data analysis, and carbon credit verification.

Mid Remote Posted about 14 hours ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

Tradewater

Environmental Project Manager (Engineering)

Location: Remote, U.S. or Canada

A certified B Corp, Tradewater is on a mission to bend the curve on global warming as quickly as possible, directly combating climate change by identifying, collecting, and mitigating the release of non-CO₂ superpollutants—including old refrigerants, excess halons, and methane. These actions reduce potent greenhouse gases, protect the ozone layer, and generate high-integrity carbon credits that fund and expand our mission worldwide. Our projects also create measurable social and economic value for local communities, creating long-lasting benefits that strengthen economies and improve ecosystems endangering public health.

Targeting superpollutants offers one of the fastest, most cost-effective climate strategies available today. These non-CO₂ gases drivenearly half of all human-caused warming, areexponentially more potent than CO₂, and cannot be removed from the atmosphere once released. Cutting halocarbons and methane delivers bigger and faster climate benefits than CO₂ reductions alone and leading models, from MIT to the IPCC, agree that tackling superpollutants is essential to any credible net-zero pathway.

Since 2012, Tradewater has prevented over 11 million tons of CO₂ equivalent from releasing into the atmosphere and are on path to prevent at least 30 million tons by 2030. We are committed to bending the curve on global warming as quickly as possible and delivering trusted, measurable, scalable climate impact today.

The Opportunity

To support its growth in plugging orphaned oil and gas wells, Tradewater is seeking an Environmental Project Manager (Engineering) to help fight climate change in a tangible and meaningful way. This position is key to the success of our methane work to prevent the emission of harmful greenhouse gases. This role works as a part of a team developing a pipeline of projects to identify and prevent the emission of harmful greenhouse gases.

The Environmental Project Manager (Engineering) position is hands-on, requiring regular work in the field, working with orphaned oil and gas wells. When not in the field managing the finding and quantification of wells, and managing plugging efforts, this role requires collaborating with our pipeline development team, coordinating efforts for trips to the field, data analysis, and providing necessary information for the carbon credit verification process. Strong candidates will have extensive experience in oil and gas, field experience working on wells, as well as familiarity with carbon project development.

This position is largely remote, and is open to candidates anywhere in the continental U.S. or Canada. While it may vary, travel approximately 30-50% of the time is expected, and applicants must live in close proximity to a major airport. Applications for this position will be accepted through Wednesday, August 12, 2026. Please include as part of your application a cover letter detailing your interest and experience with respect to this role.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

Project Management & Field Operations

  • Play a key role in managing our orphaned oil and gas well plugging efforts, from the identification of wells to the measurement and quantification of methane emissions, and through well plugging projects.
  • Plan, lead, and execute emissions quantification field work and related field activities, including overseeing in-field operations of external contractors, monitoring the implementation of safety protocols and regulatory compliance practices, managing on-site decision making, and adapting project approaches in response to environmental conditions and technical challenges.

  • Support carbon protocol development, evaluation, and implementation initiatives through researching methodological approaches, analyzing technical requirements, and providing substantive input on crediting frameworks and their effect on project development.
  • Contribute to program expansion strategy by evaluating new geographic areas and supporting the development of state-specific workflows.

What this role involves

About Us

For more than a decade, Zyte has led the way in building powerful, easy-to-use tools to collect, format and deliver web data, quickly, dependably and at scale. And today, the data we extract helps thousands of organisations make smarter business decisions, secure competitive advantage, and drive sustainable growth. Today, over 3,000 companies and 1 million developers rely on our tools and services to get the data they need from the web.

About Customer Operations

Customer Operations is the function responsible for the end-to-end operational success of Zyte’s client base, from the moment a customer signs to the ongoing health and performance of Zytes services. The team sits at the intersection of client relationship management, technical delivery and operational excellence. The Service Delivery Manager role sits in the second of these tracks, working closely with the Project Manager team as well as Tech, QA, Product and Commercial teams across the business.

The Service Delivery Manager is the single point of accountability, within their portfolio, for client operations at Zyte, bridging the gap between customer needs and technical delivery. By owning the full service relationship — from day-to-day operations to escalations and KPIs — the SDM ensures reliable, high-quality data services while driving the consistency and trust that underpin long-term client retention.

The Service Delivery Manager (SDM) oversees the effective execution of data extraction and web scraping services for our clients. By serving as the central link between our customers and the technical development team, the SDM ensures that project requirements, operational performance, and ongoing value are consistently aligned. This position integrates internal operational supervision, client relationship management, and cross-departmental coordination to uphold superior service standards and ensure customer success.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Data delivery and operational oversight

  • Coordinate with development teams to ensure timely, accurate data delivery in line with SLAs and contractual commitments.
  • Monitor pipelines, feed performance, costs, and delivery schedules — identifying risks or quality issues early and driving them to resolution.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of change requests, from scoping through to delivery and billing, in collaboration with AM and Sales teams.
  • Oversee project margin and profitability, partnering with engineering to address operational inefficiencies and maintain visibility into expenditure trends.

Client relationship management

  • Serve as the single point of contact for a portfolio of 10–15 enterprise accounts, plus ad hoc management of smaller accounts.
  • Build trusted client relationships through proactive communication, transparent reporting, and a clear understanding of each client’s objectives and evolving needs.
  • Act as the primary escalation point for service issues, representing client priorities internally and ensuring timely resolution.
  • Ensure client expectations are clearly defined and consistently met across the full service lifecycle.

Cross-functional collaboration

  • Work closely with engineering, QA, product, infrastructure, and AM/Sales teams to align on client priorities, delivery timelines, and renewal inputs.
  • Drive Zyte-side issues — including anti-ban, infrastructure, and SLA credits — through to resolution, keeping all relevant stakeholders informed.

KPI and performance reporting

  • Define, track, and report on KPIs covering data quality, delivery performance, uptime, and feed health — for both client and internal audiences.

  • Translate technical performance data into clear, meaningful language for clients and stakeholders.

  • Maintain up-to-date status tracking across all active engagements and provide leadership with regular visibility into risks and trends.

  • Maintain awareness of project margin and commercial performance across the portfolio of customers, highlighting efficiency risks and contributing to effective cost management decisions

  • 5+ years of experience in service delivery, account operations, or a similar client-facing operational role.

  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear business language.

  • Experience managing enterprise accounts or similarly complex client portfolios.

  • Proven experience managing SLAs, KPIs, and operational reporting in a client-facing role.

  • Commercial awareness and experience managing project efficiency and margin.

  • Proficiency in analysing and articulating service metrics, including uptime, MTTR, and data pipeline integrity.

  • Experience with CRM tools (e.g. Salesforce) and operational reporting platforms.

  • Demonstrated ability to identify data delivery risks and drive issues through to resolution.

  • Ability to map statements of work to project delivery and successful data outcomes.

  • Problem-solving mindset with a track record of escalation handling and cross-functional coordination.

  • Familiarity with web scraping, data pipelines, or data services is a strong advantage.

  • Compensation: 55,000-62,000 EUR/year.

  • Team Environment: Become part of a self-motivated, progressive, multi-cultural team.

  • Remote Flexibility: Have the freedom & flexibility to work remotely.

What this role involves

Mid-Market Implementation Specialist - East

Hi, I’m Daryl and I’m the Manager of Mid-Market Implementations at Ashby. One of my favorite aspects of Ashby is our operating principle of Continuous Improvement. Coupled with our principle of caring deeply about our customers, we often find ourselves wondering, “What is a better way to accomplish this?”. That’s why I am thrilled to be hiring a Mid-Market Implementation Specialist, specifically in the EST or CST timezone!

As a member of the Mid-Market Implementation team and part of our growing Professional Services team within Ashby’s Customer Success organization, you’ll have a unique opportunity to help shape this new implementation offering and uplevel the overall customer experience.

About this role:

As an Implementation Specialist aligned to our Mid-Market segment, you will be responsible for managing and executing the end-to-end implementation of Ashby’s solution for Mid-Market and smaller enterprise customers. Your book of business will include about 15 active implementations at a time, each lasting 4-8 weeks. You will work directly with customers to develop and execute implementation plans that ensure a positive customer experience and expedited time to value. Your goal is to support our customers, helping them get up and running swiftly with Ashby so they can achieve their desired outcomes.

Role requirements:

  • Implementation & Project Management: You have extensive experience leading implementation and onboarding projects in high growth B2B SaaS environments, defining scope, aligning stakeholders, communicating project plans, and delivering results against agreed upon expectations. You keep teams on track to meet milestones, work effectively in a remote first setting, and are willing to travel <10% for customer engagements.

  • Technical Proficiency: You have experience with complex, multi-module SaaS systems, understand shared configuration and data models, and are comfortable with analytics, conditional logic, and relational data (Ashby knowledge is a plus but not required)

  • Customer Centricity: You deeply understand customer needs and tailor implementations to meet their specific requirements. You build strong customer relationships by maintaining high levels of engagement and communication; you’re the customer’s proactive guide and advocate throughout the implementation period.

  • Change Management: You are experienced in navigating change management processes and helping customers adapt to new systems and a refreshed approach.

  • Best Practices & Recommendations: You take pride in advising customers on best practices specific to their usage of software to ensure optimal value.

  • Critical Thinking & Solutions Orientation: You proactively address thematic customer opportunities and improve our processes accordingly. You don’t rely on ‘I’ve seen this done,’ but instead think critically to solve problems.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: You effectively partner with cross-functional stakeholders across Customer Success, Sales, Product, Engineering, and Operations to align and define progress.

You could be a great fit if:

  • 📣 You demonstrate clear communication. You ask clarifying questions with precision and can distill complex concepts into simple themes.

  • 🎧 You are a great listener. You see your role as the voice of the customer to internal stakeholders so we can ensure that our offerings continue to evolve in accordance with customer needs.

  • 📈 You are a problem solver. You thrive at solving complex challenges with innovative, scalable solutions.

  • ⚡️You know process matters. You are eager to improve processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and efficacy.

  • 🔍 Your peers describe you as detail-oriented and technically proficient. You take pride in internal operations.

  • 📊 You are data-driven. You use metrics and analytics to inform decisions and measure success.

  • 🌍 You are adaptable. You can navigate changes in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

  • 🧑‍🏫 You love to coach. You see every teaching moment as an opportunity and are excited to help our customers grow.

You might not be a great fit if:

  • You bring project management expertise, but rely on other resources to be technical or product subject matter experts during implementations.

  • You prefer managing shorter implementations of less than 30 days.

  • You typically manage only a few simultaneous implementations at a time - This segment moves with urgency and we balance a book of business of about 15 implementations at a time

  • You are accustomed to defining ideas and strategies, yet not responsible for their execution.

  • You prefer working with a simple product (such as a point solution).

  • You prefer exclusively to build (rather than build, iterate, optimize).

Our Philosophy

Here are a few key points (relevant to the go-to-market side) that should give you an idea of what it is like to work with us:

  • We spend a lot of time building best-in-class products since we believe a highly differentiated product is a lot easier to sell.

  • We want to offer deep expertise whenever we interact with prospects and customers.

  • We strongly believe that small teams with very talented people (and the right work environment) deliver much better performance than teams with large headcount. We hire and compensate accordingly.

We value a strong sense of ownership, principled thinking over experience, and thoughtful communication (we put a lot of effort into using the right communication channels) - we’ll get into these and other values during the hiring process. You can take a look at our Operating Principles to get a sense of what we are looking for in folks on the team.

The Interview

At Ashby, our team and interview process want to help you show your best self. Our interview process is structured to get to know you and your career as well as empower you with insight into our key focus areas. Here is the process in its entirety:

  • 30 min - Recruiter Screen with Talent Team

  • 45 min - Interview with Manager of High Touch Implementations

  • 60 min- Mock Call with Strategic Implementation Specialist and High Touch Implementation Specialist

  • Final Round:

    • 30 min - Cross-Functional Interview with Head of Professional Services

    • 30 min - Product Complexity Interview with VP of Customer Success

    • 30 min - Customer Adoption & Enablement with Manager of High Touch Customer Success and a High Touch Customer Success Manager

    • 10 min - Closing Questions with Hiring Manager

Benefits

  • You’ll get the time to do things the right way; we put a lot of emphasis on high quality work and avoid quick hacks as much as possible.

  • You get to sell a product that our prospects & customers are truly excited about.

  • Competitive compensation is offered.

  • 10-year exercise window for stock options. You shouldn’t feel pressure to purchase stock options if you leave Ashby —do it when you feel financially comfortable.

  • Unlimited PTO with four weeks is recommended per year. Expect “Vacation?” in our one-on-one agenda until you start taking it 😅

  • Twelve weeks of fully paid family leave in the US . We plan to expand this to employees in other countries as situations arise.

  • Generous equipment, software, and office furniture budget. Get what you need to be happy and productive!

  • $100/month education budget with more expensive items (like conferences) covered with manager approval

Ashby provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, genetics, sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression. We are committed to a diverse and inclusive workforce and welcome people from all backgrounds, experiences, perspectives, and abilities.

Ashby is committed to a fair and transparent hiring process. We confirm that this advertisement is for an active, existing vacancy within our organization. Please be advised that we may use artificial intelligence-driven tools to assist our recruitment team in screening, assessing, and selecting candidates for this position.

What this role involves

Thousands of ads. Dozens of brands. One team keeping it all on track — that’s you.

🚀 About TubeScience

TubeScience is a performance marketing agency where world-class creative meets real-time data. Every month, our distributed team produces thousands of performance-driven video ads for leading direct-to-consumer brands and Fortune 500 companies — creative that’s tested, measured, and optimized at a scale most teams never get to see.

We work across countries and time zones as one team, and we’re looking for someone who wants to help keep that machine running smoothly.

💡 The Opportunity

We’re looking for a highly organized, systems-minded Creative Operations Coordinator to keep our creative workflows running smoothly — coordinating day-to-day operations, keeping project information accurate, surfacing blockers early, and helping us improve our processes, tools, and reporting.

You’ll work closely with Strategy, Production, Post-Production, Quality Control, and Delivery to help creative move efficiently from planning through final delivery. It’s a strong fit for someone who enjoys bringing structure to fast-moving environments, solving operational problems, and using technology to help teams work smarter.

🛠️ What You’ll Do

  • Coordinate creative projects end-to-end across Strategy, Production, Post-Production, Quality Control, and Delivery.
  • Keep project timelines, priorities, assignments, and status updates accurate in our workflow management tools.
  • Monitor progress and proactively flag bottlenecks, delays, and delivery risks before they become problems.
  • Help teams stay aligned on priorities, ownership, deadlines, and next steps.
  • Support workload planning and help spot capacity or resourcing issues early.
  • Build and maintain dashboards and reports that give visibility into the creative pipeline, workload, and delivery performance.
  • Document key workflows and keep SOPs clear and current.
  • Spot repetitive or manual tasks worth simplifying or automating, and help roll out the fix — from workflow integrations to AI-powered tools.

🔎 What We’re Looking For

  • 2+ years of experience in creative operations, production operations, project coordination, project management, or a similar fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines at once.
  • Hands-on experience with a project management or workflow platform — Monday.com, Airtable, ClickUp, Asana, or similar.
  • Comfort working with spreadsheets, dashboards, and operational reporting.
  • Exposure to workflow automation, integrations, or AI productivity tools — and genuine curiosity about using them to help teams move faster.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills. Experience collaborating with distributed teams across multiple time zones.
  • Sharp attention to detail, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to work independently and adapt as priorities shift.

You enjoy bringing clarity and structure to complex, fast-moving work. You communicate clearly, raise issues early, and look for practical ways to improve how work gets done — and you’re genuinely curious about automation, AI, and new tools that help creative teams operate more efficiently.
